23 mars 1968 : Naissance à Londres.

1989 : Il fonde Blur avec Graham Coxon, Alex James et Dave Rowntree.

1994 : Le groupe connaît son 1er succès avec « Girls and Boys », extrait de leur 3ème album « Parklife ».

1995 : Ils sortent l’album « The Great Escape » qui contient 2 tubes : “Country House” & “Charmless Man”

1997 : Ils sortent un album éponyme sur lequel figure « Song 2 »

1998 : Damon Albarn fonde Gorillaz avec le dessinateur Jamie Hewlett.

2001 : Le 1er album de Gorillaz se vend à 7 millions d’exemplaires grâce au titre « Clint Eastwood »

2005 : Gorillaz remporte le Grammy Award de la meilleure collaboration pop pour « Feel Good Inc », enregistré avec De La Soul.

2007 : Damon Albarn fonde le groupe The Good, the Bad & The Queen

2014 : Il sort son 1er album solo, « Everyday Robots »

2015 : 12 ans après son dernier album studio, Blur sort « The Magic Whip ».

2018 : The Good, The Bad and the Queen sort son 2ème album « Merrie Land ».

2020 : Gorillaz sort son 7ème album « Song Machine, Season One : Strange Timez»
